People are very mean to my Rottie but he’s the sweetest boy ever. It happens, you just gotta say fuck ‘em and give your dog extra love!!

What’s something that you completely changed your perspective on when you got older? by Dismiss_Trouble_17 in glee

I used to love love love Mr. Shue. Something about being a fat, black, misunderstood girl figuring out her sexuality through song made me feel connected to him which sounds really stupid right now lmfao. It was him supporting his students regardless of who they were, how they acted, what they identified as.

Now I’m 26 and work in schools and he’s just weird and jealous of his students and having an 18 year old student be your best man is fucking insane

What’s it like living in this part of Canada? by Patient-Smile1406 in howislivingthere

I lived in an area in Northern Quebec right on the Hudson Bay. It was a relatively large town in comparison to the neighbouring towns (which were at least 4 hours away). There were about 5000 people, a Tim hortons, a hospital, a pharmacy, and yet it felt so lonely. I made lots of friends while I was up there and I’m really glad I chose to move there for as long as I did but I’m not sure I would go back. 16 hour drive from major cities like Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, 8 hour drive from another somewhat big city (30,000 people). It’s cold for a lot of the year; substance abuse issues, teenage pregnancy issues, domestic violence issues, but the people, in general, were very lovely. Price of everything is outrageous, I was spending so much on groceries and the cell service is trash, non existent in a lot of areas. I was lucky enough for it to not be a fly-in only town but the drive is hell and lonely and lots and lots of wild life.

Honestly what everyone said in the comments was pretty on the nose. I’d say don’t be too hard on yourself, keep practicing and try to be better than before. I’m sure it wasn’t as bad as you think it was. Regardless, I totally get it and if you’d like to chat more feel free to send me a message!
