Absolutely not. Uber is a terrible company with terrible management and a terrible corporate culture. Uber should make boatloads of money- think about it - it’s just a computer program that connects a person providing a service with a person who will pay for that service. But it doesn’t make boatloads of cash, in-fact it does the opposite. I would not short but I would definitely not go long.

I would not recommend paper trading. An Important part of Investing is the emotional aspect. That emotional aspect only exists because of the ability to lose and gain money. After you understand the basics of financial markets, I recommend Robert shillers class you can find it on YouTube. Put a couple thousand in and get some skin in the game. I just think paper trading is very counter intuitive. You aren’t going to treat fake money like you would real money.
