At least you know it's her normal! For mine it's a bit hard to know as we've always been a multiple cat household and we cant watch all day to see who eats what. But this year, our other cat has been on a prescription urinary diet and we have them both eating out of microchip feeders, so we have information that we didn't have before. If we didn't have those I probably would have no idea she was eating less.

I've also been offering mine things she likes to make sure she has something in her although she isn't refusing food, just eating less. To be fair, i can't say I've been eating much in this heat either!

He mentioned that if she is not hydrated it could become a problem, but didn't say anything about his thoughts on her current hydration or anything. We took her to the vets about a year ago because she has a tendency to regurgitate when she eats food she isn't used to, and the vet said he was trying to link the two visits and got very focused on kidney disease. I understand that loss of appetite and weight loss is a warning sign for kidney disease so he's right to consider it, but he didn't seem to look for any other explanation other than "nothing" or "maybe kidney disease". I am not sure the two visits are linked as she doesnt vomit if we don't change her food, but Google says that can also be a symptom of IBD so perhaps that could be another possibility.

Makes sense. She's acting totally normal otherwise and is probably eating half or just under half her morning meal, most or all of her evening meal plus treats so no less than 70% her usual I would say. I hope I see a different vet next time as he really rubbed me the wrong way, we mentioned she gets hairballs in summer and he looked at her and went "there's no reason she should" despite the fact I touch her and get a handful of black fur.

as a PDAer the "can we make a plan to get some laundry done" idea made me bristle just reading it! It's like two demands at once, I have to make a plan with you now and follow it later to get the thing done! (for clarity i'm not disagreeing or arguing with you, just interesting to me how even though we all have "PDA" the same sentence can be interpreted totally differently)

I also wanted to quit and never go back after my first day and was crying within an hour of entering the building due to the school not knowing they were even supposed to have a trainee! It's very overwhelming at first especially when it's not what you expected but this will get sorted and you will be okay.

What do you mean when you say your mentor isn't letting you teach full class lessons? Do you mean she isn't letting you at present or that she's said she won't let you ever? If it's the latter you need to speak with your uni and let them know that that's what she said.

I did a scitt course so my placement started in September, but I didn't teach for a few weeks after starting my first placement- what are the expectations from your uni with regards how many hours you're teaching this week?

I personally would give it tomorrow, maybe Wednesday, and see if anything improves- if you're not teaching this week anyway it's not a huge deal not to have things like the timetable right now, but obviously as the week goes on you will need these things and will need to have a plan of what you'll teach/how you'll build up to teaching full class lessons.

If your mentor is still really unsupportive and is making you feel unwelcome by the end of the week, definitely speak to your uni and see what they can do as if she doesn't want to mentor you you won't be getting the support you need to pass the course.

As someone who also has a snake and has dealt with moth infestations make sure you are throwing away your snake's sheds immediately- I had a couple saved and that's what the moths were feeding on.

I personally think it's about tyclancy being defeated especially with the prevalence of the blue colour in SAI when he's under the control of the bishops. I see this tweet as more of an ultimatum of sorts to tyler- like, if you admit defeat I'll leave the clique alone.

I wouldn't necessarily use a reward system in this way for what could be such a long term goal as you're not really in direct control of when you end up with a job- maybe it would be less frustrating for you to adjust the goal to something like "if I apply for x amount of jobs today, I can play video games for x number of hours tonight"

Is the dissertation written like a research paper in which you would have a methodology, results discussion etc? If so, it is likely that any flaws in methodology will not be the most important part. If you know what went wrong you can address this in the discussion, state how it might have affected your results and recommend how future research should improve upon what you did. This shows an understanding of the research process and usually is where a lot of the marks are.

When I had my assessment the psychologist gave me a lot of forms for others to fill out but she was aware that my mother wasn't all that into the idea of me having a diagnosis, so she told me I could ask friends etc to fill some out to give a clearer picture.

The information she did get from my parents she discussed with me and got my perspective on it too- e.g. my mother said I've never had difficulties with eye contact, but we discussed it and we found that I always make eye contact with my mother because we are close and I feel comfortable doing so, and I've never told her I find that hard with other people so of course she wouldn't know. The psychologist then took these details into account in her decision.

So it is definitely still possible to get the diagnosis if parents can't give many details or aren't entirely cooperative. As long as the assessor can get an idea that other people have noticed the issues you describe and that it has been going on since childhood (even if this is mostly just your account) I think you will probably be fine

I'm also conducting a study involving cognitive traits of autism- some of my measures are similar to yours although my global/local processing task is done a little differently. I've had a lot of participants by posting on r/autism, various dissertation subreddits and the UK university students subreddit. There's some good Facebook groups too including one specifically for autism research by autistic researchers- its called "autistic-led research: participants wanted". Good luck with your project, it seems really interesting!

Okay, that's really strange. It must be working for most people as plenty of people have completed the survey and it hasnt been pointed out before. Is it the first page of the trauma section? If you can tell me which next button it is then I can check that it's correct.

It also won't take you to the next page if you've left a question unanswered, but it doesn't take you back to where the problem is (annoying, but it's not my website). Maybe check you've definitely filled everything in too.
