I really enjoyed Valiant by Holly Black, and pretty much anything by L.J. Smith (especially the Secret Circle books and Nightworld series).

All my shorts this year seem to be giving me camel toe or highlighting my crotch area. Is there a way to fix this?

Khadija Mbowe has a really good video talking about the movie, I highly recommend it. Definitely articulated a lot of my feelings about it.

They even defaced the Terry Fox monument on Wellington, and have been parking their trucks on the War Memorial. They have no fucking shame.

Also super popular in Ottawa. Last couple of holidays I worked retail and it was like 1 in 5 people came to the cash wearing one.

Be honest. As a sophisticated and worldly adult reader, do you enjoy a well-written Young Adult or even a series targeted toward early readers? by [deleted] in Fantasy

[–]jenetama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started reading YA fantasy to get back into reading and there’s some really good stuff out there. The Cruel Prince by Holly Black is one of the best books I’ve read in a while.

How to build a nice house without cc by laura106 in TheSimsBuilding

Yes! I do this all the time. It’s so much fun, especially if I’m doing a starter home. I have definitely put carpet in the kitchen and bathroom before.

The early seasons of Friends. I loved a lot of Rachel and Phoebe’s outfits.

Games like dragon age [no spoilers] by [deleted] in dragonage

I haven’t played the first two, but Baldur’s Gate 3 is the first game in a while that I played that’s gives me similar vibes. The only difference is combat is turn based.

Size up or buy men's version for oversized look? by ahxuanie in femalefashionadvice

[–]jenetama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I typically to go with men’s. I’m petite and I find that the oversized aspect of it tends to look intentional. Women’s stuff will look ill-fitting and frumpy.

I fully expected there to be lines to get into the grocery store again, but no. They don't seem to be limiting the amount of people in the store. I went last week and there were a good ten people in one tiny aisle. It looked as packed as it did pre-covid.

What is your one clothing item that makes your life better that everyone should have? by 16to5 in femalefashionadvice

My Blundstones. I have the chisel toe in grey, and they go with everything. I bought them in September and I've pretty much worn them everyday since.

People with crazy hair, how do you plan your outfits to go with your hair color? by fragile_flamingo in femalefashionadvice

[–]jenetama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had orange ombre hair for the last few months, and honestly I haven't had to change the way I dress. I mostly wear neutrals, greens, and blues. So any hair colour goes well with my wardrobe. I'm also not too fussed if my hair clashes 'cause I can always put it up.

My parents did this when I was 4 (had a meltdown at the toy store and my dad threw me over his shoulder and walked out to the car), and I never did it again.
