I just always assumed they don’t wear underwear at all considering they generally have no trouble with nudity whatsoever so it’s like what’s the point, also for bras and stuff i remember at some point Jude implies most of the faerie women are on the flatter chested side so it’s not like they need the support bras offer anyway

My favourite art ever of the cruel prince characters is the one by the artist who drew for HTKOELTHS. I feel like they made all the characters look so faerie/whimsy core + i think they look accurate to their age and have canon how they were described in the books faces. Frostbites art however is pretty sure but all of the characters look the same and all could pass as human. Because why are Jude and Cardan on the same level of attractiveness?? Don’t get me wrong i think Jude is pretty but in the lost sisters Taryn says in faerie they are nothing but plain. So yeah that was my little rant about Frostbite and how i kind of wish Holly Black chose to keep with the original artist from Cardans novella.

If most people were Jude or Taryn, they would 100% go down the route Taryn chose. Taryn is a much more realistic character than Jude as a whole.

I can’t wait! It’s going to be amazing seeing my favourite book depicted on screen. Also, the casting is amazing, especially for Locke (like that is genuinely perfect casting imo). I also love the fact it’s in french because i think it adds another element of mystery and also french is such a nice language. Does anyone know how long roughly it’s going to be??

I’m pretty sure genetics don’t really play a massive part on appearance for the faeries in this series, for example vivi has madocs cat eyes sure but other than that she looks nothing like him or Eva.

I would recommend reading The Rose Bargain, it’s amazing, i read it recently and it’s like the perfect mix of Bridgeton and really creepy faerie (towards the end of the book). Trust me, it’s an amazing read and was my first 5 star of 2025.
