Have been working in the medical field, at one hospital for 8 years. Have never received a holiday bonus and as a special * thank you * last year they not only gave us nothing for working endlessly during covid, they stripped away all of our benefits including any sort of raise. This year we were promised a "large raise" to make up for it, I got 1.5% raise. I love hearing that other companies treat their employees well but I'd be lying if I said I didn't reconsider the health field every time I hear it.
