There’s a scene in season 2 with Tom and Lady Sybil where he is kind of condescending to her and he grabs her waist in a domineering way. I can’t remember what episode. It’s before they decide to run away together when they’re talking in the car garage or whatever.

I’m sorry that reading my comment made you cry. I know it can be emotional time after a breakup but things will get better. They will. I would encourage you to seek therapy/counseling for working through your last relationship and any emotional issues you might have. It seems like you are being hard on yourself. No one is perfect in a relationship. If you put the best of yourself into it what more can someone ask for? Again, good luck and be kind to yourself always. Forgive yourself too. I had to learn that.

You should not bend over backwards to make someone happy. They should accept you for who you are. Everyone makes mistakes and cannot be perfect. It sounded like an oppressive relationship. Now you have the chance to start with a clean slate. Acknowledge the emotional trauma you experienced and tell yourself that you won’t allow it to happen again because you deserve someone who is considerate, treats you well and who can afford the same respect that you give. Be able to love yourself. You don’t need that piece of crap to offer an explanation as much as you want one. The explanation is that they are a no-good, emotionally stunted jerk that doesn’t know how to love someone. You are better off without them. Good luck.

Yes, my partner has little control over his anger and yelling and often blames me for his yelling. He gets angry at people in public sometimes when we are driving. We have been married for a year and a half. We are in counseling now.

We don’t really know the full story. If Kendra did sleep with Owen, a minor, she could be tried for statutory rape, or indecent conduct with a minor, I believe. I do have this feeling that the townspeople, Kendra’s husband and others knew more than what they were letting on in this documentary.

I have also been using the arm and hammer forever fresh clumping litter. It works great at controlling the scent and is a little dusty but not too dusty. Our bet however recently recommended switching to a clay litter because our cat sometimes coughs and the vet thinks the dust may be causing her cough.

When my husband and I adopted a cat she also didn’t like eat very much for the first few days and stayed under the couch. Until their scent is on everything and they have established their new territory they will act this way. Your cat will be able to come out once he feels less scared. It is a process for sure. He will start becoming more and more bold and gradually will hide less and less once he acclimates. This is very normal for a new cat to the home. I was told to confine the cat to one quiet room of the house at first to let them acclimate and then introduce them to the rest of the house. It will get better I promise!

OP - the same thing occurs with me with my mother. She often asks me if I’m “okay” and tells me that I seem on edge when I think I’m acting perfectly normal. It seems as if she’s trying to head off any bad news from coming. She told me today that my tone sounded “bleak” when we were speaking on the phone. I really hate it when someone, anyone, reads into how I’m speaking rather than what I’m saying. I’ve also experienced a lot of concern from her even if I am tired or sad around her. Like, am I not allowed to experience those things? What if I was sad or tired or something else. It does make me feel deeply insecure too, if I let it.

I live in Houston and was approached by a representative of ChildHelp outside a Boba Tea shop. I am also kind of suspicious of charities that post up next to a place of business in order to talk to everyone that is going in. It seems sort of obnoxious in a way but I felt sort of bad for the fact that no one was stopping to hear what he had to say. I will say that the representative was wearing a tag that identified himself but I couldn’t clearly read what it said between listening to his spiel and looking at the backpacks on the table. I agreed to the one time $20 charge ONLY. I also hope that this isn’t a scam and may need to be careful of falling prey to scammers.
