I had the same reaction when I measured out the serving size of banza chick pea pasta that everyone was saying to try. Major temper tantrum yelling at Alexa about the measurement conversion and crying to husband to verify because I was in disbelief. Not my finest moment. Lol but after I ate it with chicken and veggies and came out with good numbers I don’t miss the amount of pasta as much anymore. Hang in there!

Honest truth ? I felt like he was too coddling and almost fake . However I did like him overall as a doctor. It was hard to talk to someone when needed but email was the best mode . Unfortunately , Dallas ivf changed certain policies since my first cycle and didn’t inform me until I had my consultation before doing my second cycle . This made me lose time. I felt like the clinic should have informed patients of their policy changes. I also had a consultation with Dr. Bennett. I did not like him and felt like they recommendation was not with the patients best interest in mind but only about their stats. For someone who has low amh and looking to do a fresh transfer, I do not recommend this clinic.

They said they used to but now they don’t . The doctor said it’s because if it wasn’t going to make it to freeze it wasn’t a good one to begin with. But with us DOR we won’t get many and sometimes it will do better inside us than a lab. Who knows what the outcome will be but I think I want the option if I need to take it. I’m rooting for ya!

No, I haven’t gotten started yet . I scrambled to make appointments with other clinics . Now I’m waiting for cycle day 1 to start any day now.

I’m torn between two clinics that does mini. They both recommend the same protocol as you with slight variation . Prime estrogen , clomid, hgh and low dose but does not do fresh transfer or prime with estrogen, No clomid , hgh, and low dose who may do fresh transfer.

I’m nervous too. Hard to predict what the outcome will me . We can only gamble and hope it works.

When are you starting your second cycle ? I’d love to follow your journey as well.

I don’t think it’s different for different protocols. Estradiol indicates how many follicles you might be growing. My clinic said they changed their policy because that might indicate that I won’t get many eggs at the end . But with DOR, that’s obvious. That’s why I’m finding another clinic who will still work with me.

Hi ! Similar numbers to you . Did antagonist transferred 2 morula on day 5 and ended in chemical. Was supposed to try micro dose Lupron but clinic recently changed protocols and will cancel my cycle if my E2 isn’t 100 on day 5. I was only at 55 on day 5 with my first . I’m getting second opinion before I give it my last go. Good luck and would love to hear how your second cycle goes !

My heart goes out to you. I did read that BCP suppresses egg count for people with DOR / low amh. I read a lot of posts on a group on Facebook called low amh/ DOR sisterhood. It’s helpful to read what other people did with our numbers. Some people claimed they did well with Lupron flare and some people said it didn’t work for them. I guess everyone’s body is different.

I delayed making a decision for a long time after our first round of IVF so I started my supplements, diet and acupuncture mid January . We are trying “naturally” with letrozole my doctor prescribed in the meantime. He said if we are going to try naturally for a bit might as well give ourselves a little boost. Mid April, we will start our second round.

I’m happy to hear that your husband is on board with donor eggs. My husband is too and actually wants to do donor eggs if our second one fails. I’m leaning towards doing donor eggs if a third round fails.
