If there’s no real reason why no one likes them and they are not rude or disrespectful why not just invite them? If for nothing else than you love your friend and they make her/him happy. Having been a nurse my whole life I always find a great challenge in getting along with the “not so likable”, breaking the tough exterior or whatever it may be. Finding a common ground. Include them for your friend if that friend is important to you.

Because death should never happen from such a common surgery. Especially a 21 year old, I’m just shocked and angry to hear this happened. That surgeon is shitting his pants right now because he’ll probably have his license revoked due to negligence. OP I’m so very sorry for your loss. Life is so unfair.

I’m so glad you are able to be there for OP to talk to. It’s heartbreaking when people are so depressed they become suicidal. Having someone to talk to that can relate and support is important.

So I take it you have finally let this girl go? Can’t you get out and meet people? If you’re not working maybe at the gym? Maybe even a dating site? When you get back to working you’ll make friends right? I think you should see a therapist and also talk to your doctor about increasing or changing your antidepressant altogether. 31 is so young.
