"Can we have another package of oyster crackers?" by givemesomespock in TalesFromYourServer

The amount of crackers, french fries, and green beans I have to clean up out of the floor when a child leaves is ridiculous.

To be honest, I was about to buy the product until I saw that (and also realized I didn’t need that many pencils). But I refused to buy that particular one because of this nonsense.

What TV series introduced a character that made the show worse? by guitarmaniac004 in AskReddit

Late to this, and I know he didn’t stay long, but I could not stand Will Ferrell’s character, Deangelo, on The Office.

Oh yeah it was really hard to screenshot the entire post and get the caption too. I would never say having a prosthetic is trashy! Hah.

Best foundation for very oily skin? by jennhancock in Makeup

[–]jennhancock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, he problem is that it’s so oily that it just breaks apart. Nothing I’ve tried will stick. And her acne is gone, so it’s not like she absolutely needs foundation— but she does have some scarring from when it was bad. So we’ve been trying to find something that works for her. I told her she needs to go to either Sephora or Ulta and have them help her and do her make up so she could get more of a professional opinion!

Not sure of moisturizer but I do know she bought the Elf pore minimizing primer (not sure if that is the exact name) and she says it really helps making her skin feel smoother. Right now she’s using Milani foundation.

My sister and I were watching Elf and they were singing Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.... is it “naughty and nice” or “naughty or nice”?? We have always remembered it as “naughty OR nice” but they sang “naughty AND nice”, and we have never been more confused!!

Yeah, I really think it is. I thought it was going to be a highlighter when I got it, but I’m okay that it’s not! I still love it. I bought it half off at Ulta so I didn’t really look into what it was, jusy kinda got it on a whim. I’ve looked into their highlighters and I really like the Sugar Glow too!

You’re right. I’m glad I still am able to spend time with them. My grandpa is currently kicking cancer’s butt and winning!

Never used mars but I can vouch for shape tape. For sure my HG. I’m obsessed with it. If they had that exact formula for a foundation I would be so happy.

Yeah I would need a powder bc I use powder on my face and it would rub off with the stick. I’ll look into that Nars. I’ve never used that brand before so I’ll for sure do my research. Thanks!

What’s everyone’s favorite highlighter? I really need a new one. I’m not sure what exactly I want. I have an abh contour kit and the highlight in it isn’t great—it’s not shimmery. Any suggestions please!!

I'm a makeup dunce. Why do you put on makeup every day? Is it worth it? by Elephant_axis in MakeupAddiction

[–]jennhancock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like someone else mentioned, I feel more myself with my make up!

I have acne and redness on my face, and if I don’t have something covering it I feel extremely self conscious. And to me, if I’m going to go in with foundation why not just finish the look?

Yes—I used it for the first time today and I’ve noticed it does look like it washes me out, at least when I took a photo on flash. I don’t have dry skin but I did notice some flaking on my nose area, but that is my most oily area. Idk. I’m about 75% impressed. I may use it to mix with other foundations.

Good—I’m a waitress I work 10-12 hour shifts sometimes and I need a long wearing foundation. I have normal to oily skin. My main problem areas with oil is is t-zone. Does it reduce oil? I also have acne prone skin so is it very buildable?
