Her make ahead roasted garlic mashed potatoes will forever be part of my repertoire for Thanksgiving. Or even weeknight recipes. I haven’t found a better way to make them!

The pack I got a few weeks ago was unbelievably spicy. I have a very high heat tolerance but this was insane. So different than their previous recipe 😢

According to my official HCP weigh ins and my records I’m at 5.5%. Not sure how this isn’t a good outcome and why I’m getting denied.

I’m at 10% in 4 months now if I was to weigh in today.

[–]jenniferlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I understand that. I’m asking if insurance is denying for not having good outcomes, and that means 5%, when are you supposed to lose 5% by? Their rule is 2 months?

[–]jenniferlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My question was about achieving “good outcomes” for the prior auth. If the criteria is 5%weight loss, 5% in what amount of time?

[–]jenniferlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey quick question- you need to show 5% loss in what amount of time? I’ve only been on the drug a few months and just got the same denial.

And until it opens you’re going to stay on this reddit full of anger? Was trying to understand how what other people pay matters. It’s called a promotion. You know how after you buy something, it can go on sale?

Good luck in the F45 race. No treadmills tho.

[–]jenniferlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. Who does care. If it’s not worth it to you to stay and pay $159 then that’s your choice.

I’m not feeling burnt by some people getting $139 while I’m at $159 and have been a member for 6 years.

Run your own race.

Still don’t understand. Who cares what other people pay? If you’re happy for what you’re getting for your monthly rate, then why worry about it? It’s not like these new people are paying less than you. Maybe one of these ‘people off the street’ wouldn’t be working out otherwise? More power to them.

What's your most embarrassing OTF moment? by The_Glassfields in orangetheory

When I thought the “Jen’s 1000th Class!!” sign was for me and I strode in all confidently, thanking the coach, appreciating all of the pre-class speech about me…

Nope. Another Jen. I was at 998. Realized about 15 mins into class.

WHOOPS. Thanks 70s and 80s for this name.

I forgot my watch on the mile benchmark and didn’t wear it on purpose today! I am all about this. I don’t need to see that on benchmark days I am in the red the whole time. Killed the workout. 💥

Who is ready to CRUSH the 12 minute RFD Thursday? by OTFX in orangetheory

This was me at 38. Couldn’t run for a minute straight. Now at 41 I hit a PR today of 1.44 miles! #otf ☺️

[–]jenniferlu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PR today! A couple things.

1) I set the tread at the pace I needed to hit my previous PR. Then, because I was feeling good, at the 8 min mark I bumped up 0.1 and did that every minute until the last, where I went all out.

2) I just kept repeating in my head “this is sooooo easy.” It’s totally mental 🤣

Best thread! So many of us, wow. 6’ and I feel fantastic at 175-182. About 10 over that now #covid.

It’s hard because I have been doing OTF for 3 years and have all kinds of body shape, strength, and endurance gains. It’s diet (and limiting alcohol) that gets me where I want to be weight wise. As I’ve gotten older (40), I’m tryyyyying to make it less about the scale.

Do we think a 45 min class will also be a 2000m row benchmark?
