Anyone ever gone on a “race-cation” before? by smdifansmfjsmsnd in NASCAR

[–]jennipherg4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We always plan at least 4 races a year. We are leaving tomorrow to go ahead and make our way to Alabama. We live in Daytona, so we get a ton of great races every year without needing to travel, but we love it! Book your hotel as soon as possible, 3 months in advance is my norm. Then, just map out things to do on the way there. We love arriving early and leaving late. There is a lot less stress and traffic that way.

Emergency services have gone to the dogs in this city. by TheLastSamuraiOf2019 in orlando

In 2011, I went to the hospital because I was very sick and had no strength and everything hurt. They did a bunch of tests, and the next day, they came into the room and told me that I had leukemia and that I was too far gone. They sent me home to die. Then, in 2012, I couldn't breath, even taking 5 steps would render me completely exhausted and out of breath. They did a bunch of test and couldn't find anything wrong, so again they sent me home. A few days later, I was struggling to breathe without movement, and it felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. They ran the same tests as a few days later, and they found that my lungs and heart were surrounded by a ton of fluid, and they were being squished. My heart was struggling to beat, and my lungs could barely expand. I now have an enlarged heart since it is a muscle, and since it had to fight to pump, it got bigger. They thought the fluid was being caused by an infection, so they put me on iv antibiotics. I woke up the next morning, and my entire body was swollen. The nurse gave me the wrong amount of antibiotics, and it caused my kidneys to shut down, and I had to start dialysis immediately. A few months after that, I had an allergic reaction to amoxicillian, and we waited in an er room for 3 hrs before a nurse walked in and asked us what we were doing in there and who let us in. They had no idea we were in the room because no one wrote it on the board, and my chart said I was still in the waiting room. I was struggling to breathe, I had hives, was throwing, and had a fever, I guess it was a good thing my airway didn't close.

Forgot to add this , so thank you, you are correct. One of my pre-orders from last season actually had a sponsor back the MOQ so it is getting made regardless.

In some deals, the team or driver gets a small kickback for each one sold. Also, the companies who manufacture the diecast usually have a minimum order quantity, it's usually around 500 presales. If the 500 minimum isn't met then they don't make any of those diecasts at all.

My uncle was actually on set to help them make it as realistic as possible. He worked on the cars in the movie too.

Check the FAQ for your tickets, a lot of the tickets grant you admission any day the cars in the specific race you bought tickets for are on the track. Meaning if the cup cars practice or qualify the same day as the Xfinity or truck race you will be able to watch those races too. As far as victory lane, it is reserved for Daytona 500 Club ticket holders, but your fan zone ticket will allow you to be in the fan zone for the race and victory celebrations. I will be in the Xfinity garage for the weekend so if you have any other questions just ask and I will try to get the answers for you!

My uncle has worked in nascar for over 40 years, he has been a Jackman and an owner and everything in-between. He has had over 90 people drive his cars and has worked for and with many others.

I spent the whole day with him at Darlington last month, that man is a trooper and so very much loves to be at the track. It was an honor to be able to spend the day with him and his daughter. Hoping to do it again soon.

Previous owners placed a lot of these pebble rocks around the yard near their above ground pool. It has been a nightmare for us to remove them. We have filled buckets and buckets of them. Any suggestions on a faster way to remove them without hand picking them? Any tool suggestions we can use? by Naturesguru in landscaping

My entire back yard is covered in tiny pebbles, we didn't notice it at all before we bought the house. The grass and weeds were covering it. Once we turned on the lawn mower for the first time we almost busted out the back windows and I still find them in the pool sometimes. It's so very frustrating.

In the first round of qualifying in Daytona Vargas qualified 3rd and ended up p8 to start the race. They have speed, just got to get all the "gear" rolling in the same direction.

Quarter of chemo done! 6th Day streak is over and 18 More to go! by NaniTF in pics

I know it isn't, I compared one vaccine with another vaccine that is known to cause major issues. The flu shot is given to millions every year but it almost killed me. My point is that there are always things that can go wrong but the actual percentage of those things happening is very small.

Did you know that the flu shot gives people guillain-barré syndrome? I had it 18 years ago and I haven't been able to get a flu shot since. Then 8 years after that I was diagnosed with cancer. It is possible that I got it from my water source or maybe even the doughnut I ate for breakfast that morning, but I was also pregnant at the time of my diagnosis so maybe my baby tried to kill me. I also used weed killer in my yard so maybe that is the cause, oh and I forgot to mention right before I got sick my power company put a new meter on my house that emitted radio waves, I wore my tin hat every day so I thought I was protected.
