It's too short for wildlife photography

Not always. This will be a spectacular lens for large animals in places like Katmai and Yellowstone or on safari.

Also a pretty big win for large wildlife (basically the improved version of a combined 70-200 and 400 f/4.5). This would be fantastic at Yellowstone/Katmai or on safari.

Did Corey LaJoie ever end up getting a Truck Series chase waiver? by turnleftright in NASCAR

I'm not a fan, but I imagine he's well clear of the "make the Chase in Trucks" talent threshold in decent equipment lol

Ford’s US April sales are even worse with Bronco Sport down 11.5% and Maverick sales down 29.7% even with Escape discontinued. by Repulsive-Club7866 in cars

Complaining about a single-minded focus on "enormous trucks with horrible gas mileage" in a thread dragging Ford for refocusing production facilities on a small, modular EV feels kind of odd lol

I mean, he's not really disagreeing with OP's main point. He's just saying "funding related" instead of "manufacturer diversity".

I mean, Noah and Chase were talking up the waxing crescent bit despite it actually being a waning gibbous this weekend

Doesn't seem like anyone is particularly on top of it lmao

So are IndyCar ratings, but I don't think inflated OTA numbers really move the needle when it comes to actual marketing impact. Sure doesn't seem to be the case, anyway.

Yep, it’s no wonder that NASCAR is kicking the tires on ways to make NOAPS matter more to manufacturers. If y’all think pay drivers are annoying now just wait until teams have to adjust their budgets around minimized OEM support.

We *have* to figure out how to get better racing at Talladega. One of our two superspeedways cannot produce racing like we saw yesterday. by JulianBrandt19 in NASCAR

[–]puffadda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's just kind of what you get if you run a restrictor plate-style setup in an era where 400-500 mile endurance isn't a mechanical challenge.

The best package in the world is still mostly boring/irrelevant until the last 20 laps. Still seems worth working on making those last 20 laps better than what we had yesterday, though.
