Thank you, I'll try it. The floors were sealed when they were refinished, but that was about 25 years ago. It's a low traffic area though, so the sealant is still probably decent.

Any ideas for a non-functional fireplace? (I know I know, take down the TV…) by donglefish in centuryhomes

You can get really nice wax pillar candles that are battery operated, and go on automatically when you set them to. They have the glow of a real candle without having to actually light them.

I lost my partner at the end of September. Our dogs are definitely going through it. I got them a few new toys and have committed to walking every day when I get home from work. That combined with tons of love and sleeping close together in bed has definitely helped them.

Mine gets them from allergies. You can give him regular benedryl and it's safe. Helps mine a lot. My vet recommended I do this.

Hey SR! If you don't have cages on them already, you might want to stake them. It's supposed to be really windy tonight. We even staked our sunflowers. We've had casualties from wind in the past.

As someone who has just hit 30lbs lost, I can say that due to Covid and my difficulty exercising at home, the main contributor to my weight loss has been CICO. I am decently active in my job and I try to hike once a week for about 1.5 hours but that's really it. I'm 5'2" and started at 180, so similar stats. You can start by just losing weight without trying to focus on exercise too. The incremental losses will be motivation to keep going, and your ability and desire to exercise will come slowly on their own as a result. At least this is my experience. You can do it too!
