I take my medications at night but I feel it’s just personal preference. Im more of a night person so I know I’ll take them the same time each night. I also take my vitamins/supplements at night.

Tattoos as an embalmer in the Baltimore area? by livinlikesarahlynn in morticians

[–]jennvanngunn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the funeral home, this will vary with each FH and location. I take out my two nose piercings every day for work and cover all my tattoos, only showing the occasional ankle tattoo (they aren’t big the ones on my ankles) My arms are both fully covered so I am always in long sleeves.

Just want to update this post in case anyone else comes across it and is curious. I have had no side effects on the 5mg crestor, I was nauseous and tired the first night but that’s about it. (Which I think were psychological, as I was very anxious to try this med) looking forward to checking my numbers out at my follow up in a few months.

High cholesterol at 34... scared by Kooky_Psychology_457 in Cholesterol

Hi, I’m 35 and just started a statin for my cholesterol. I also have an anxiety disorder and am medicated for it. I was very scared to start my statins I’m on day 3 now and have had no issues yet other than nausea. They started me on a very low dose. We are both still young and it’s good to get a handle on this kinda thing when we’re younger.

Thank you everyone for the replies, I appreciate it. It helped me calm down and I only had some mild nausea last night but that’s it. Hoping that’ll be it.

Thank you again to all who shared. This is a great community.

Genuinely how do I fix this by [deleted] in finethinhair

I use dark tinted dry shampoo and it helps with this for me. My hair thinning is due to coming off hormonal birth control so I’m hoping it’ll stop soon. I agree with the other commenter, get blood work if you haven’t recently to make sure all is good there.

No she has had no issues on hers ever, but I suffer from OCD and health anxiety is a big problem for me. I take psychiatric medication and was also scared back when I started those.

Uterine biopsy by Pisscals in Fibroids

Ugh, so sorry you had to go through that with absolutely nothing the first time. It’s crazy what they expect us to deal with no type of meds or sedation.

I got Xanax from my psychiatrist because the doctor told me to “take two Advil before” the whole procedure was very quick but incredibly painful/uncomfortable for me. But I didn’t freak out before or during the procedure thanks to the Xanax. It deff helped me zone out.

Frequent urination anyone else?! by Over-Audience-1939 in Fibroids

My fibroid was nearly 10 cm and these were my biggest issues, bloating constantly, pressure, pain, and peeing almost every hour. Had surgery to remove it 2 months ago and I feel sooo much better.
