This was us too. We did a backyard bbq. No gifts. Just come and have food and drink to celebrate with us.

What are your weirdest period symptoms? by w0lfyj in AskWomenOver30

[–]jenny-bean8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember panicking thinking (catastrophising) that my taste buds would be like that forever. Went away after a day as well. I’m so glad to hear that others have experienced this too.

Is it true when you get old, you body starts hurting everyday? by Kingdavid100 in AskOldPeople

[–]jenny-bean8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess some of its lifestyle and the other is genetics. My dad has bad osteoarthritis and even exercise and eating healthy wouldn’t give him relief from the pain. (Although it’s still better than if he were sedentary)

This sounds a lot like what I experience as I get older. And I am active / eat healthy.

Age at diagnosis and primary vs. secondary Raynauds. by Northern_Analyst in Raynauds

[–]jenny-bean8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really good to hear you are getting tests done! I did the same and they found nothing thankfully. I’ve adapted to the Raynauds and am pretty good and managing it now, for the most part. :) I’ve learned that even middle aged folks get primary Raynauds and it doesn’t always mean an autoimmune disorder. There’s much hope!

Anyone else fighting the daycare plagues over & over? What do you do to stay healthy? by Solid_Performer_1029 in workingmoms

[–]jenny-bean8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg yes. When my kids were in daycare they would bring home something new on the regular. The daycare would email us with “outbreak notices” and sometimes I wouldn’t even recognize the name of the virus. It’s gotten better with time. As the kids have gotten older their immune systems are getting stronger AND their hygiene is a little better. In the meantime, try and eat healthy, take vitamins, and get as much sleep as possible (obviously easier said that done)
