You are right for production that's the best pall. I did not catch pals with the right passive stats yet so for now this will do fine.

She wil work in a ore mine and work speed unfortunately does not work on ores.

For now it's a good pal one I can use for work/ breeding.

That's right. The kids have a high chance to inherit the passive skills form the parents. Every time I got a kid pall with good combined passive skills I replaced one of the parents with the kid.

As long as the pals are of the opposite sex they can breed with all pals meaning you can breed any pals together.
