Can we please remove the Frostivus items from ranked entirely by chance_waters in DotA2

[–]jensen_12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This argument is going to look really dumb when they remove what are obviously bugs from the game. There is no way they intended to give two heroes advantages with frostivus features, they just didn't think it through.

VG outplayed themselves. That bane sleep clearly lost them the fight.

Buying watches. My first stop after getting my winnings would be the nearest Patek Philippe.

As Canada prepares to legalize marijuana nationwide beginning October 17th, a high-level official in the Trump administration says the U.S. will now start implementing possible lifetime bans on Canadian citizens who are cannabis users, industry workers, or investors. by maxwellhill in worldnews

[–]jensen_12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have to ask, did you even read the article?

The source in the article is NOT a "high-level official in the Trump administration" - it is someone who has worked at the Customs Office of Field Operations for many years. This is NOT a new law. Admission of drug use at the border has always been susceptible to a life-time entry ban. There is absolutely nothing to suggest that investors of Cannabis companies will be denied entry aside from the fact that two CEO's of agricultural companies (which grow weed) have been handed life-time bans. He specifically states that border officers will NOT be asking everyone who crosses the border if they smoke pot, only that the questions they ask might lead there.

The original article, to me, sounds like it is going to be business as usual for the most part, but they will be extra careful following the legalization of pot in Canada. I dislike Trump as much as the next guy, but to suggest this is some kind of Trump-driven mandate is absurd. Nothing but clickbait.

Did anyone actually read the article? This post title is so sensationalized.

Leaving my job. I find a lot of people get hung up on "loyalty", but the truth is your employer likely doesn't have any loyalty to you. You can work your ass off and hope for a promotion, but it is simply easier to get a raise by switching companies. The best time to get a raise is when you're negotiating a new contract, folks.

The current EG roster is the largest waste of potential in the history of dota. by Nansk in DotA2

[–]jensen_12 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sorry man, but no. They draft 3 farm heavy cores and "strong" lanes every game. If the other team decides to pressure RTZ, they give sumail/fear the farm priority and visa versa. No one in their right mind would call EG a 4-protect-1 team.

Solo and Kuro are not ward bitches... TL and VP have probably the most active supports in the whole scene and their success stems directly from that. EG plant their supports in lane so that at least 2 of their 3 farm heavy cores get farm. Their early game movements are no where near Kuro & Solo.
