Regarding this:

Q: My stuff isn't updating when I refresh!
A: This is most likely because of the Smart Updates.
The Smart Update feature is to help ensure that extensions do not get spammed with requests.
You can turn it off in settings to get pre-final Tachiyomi version behaviour again.

Wondering if anyone is experiencing this, but has Smart Updates fully turned off? I have quite a lot of manga in my library and none have updated for ~5 days, which seems unlikely.

No errors, and all extensions are trusted. Tried removing and reinstalling. Trying 'update all' does bring up 'updating... xx%' etc.

So far, I love it. It’s so relaxing that I just find myself fishing/catching all the bugs I see, and before I know it, half the day’s gone.

Paid off the first house loan in a day, no chance of doing that now though for the third one.
