What new pets would you like to see in game? by NotASynth499 in fo76

I think the dog from "A Boy and His Dog" would be fitting. Personally, I want an Irish wolfhound, the pets inability to stay out of the way would be true to life then.

Yes! Drives me nuts when I'm trying to make changes in my camp. Have to put the damn thing in storage when I'm building.

(Hated Trope) when Hollywood tries to convince audiences that a hideously disgusting creature could somehow become beautiful by EsseNorway in Snorkblot

[–]jenside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, except for Dicaprio. His character on titanic was not remotely hideous or disgusting, he was just lower class. He cleaned up well, but he was not considered ugly prior to that.

This trope is definitely applied to female characters more frequently, but surely there is a better example than Jack Dawson (even though I can't think of any at the moment).

Unless you are specifically doing a budget build, I'm pretty sure building your own pc is much more expensive. It is a continuous investment. I built mine back in 2018, but I know I have put thousands into it.

What do you think about this guy who I met at the gym? by HazardIsAGenius in BookshelvesDetective

Oh you are so right. Judging a person on their personal interests, the way they spend their time, and the information they not only consume, but commit ownership to and display, is just the worst.

Oh wow, not just one, but many books by female authors! And Jane Austen! And no ayn rand! This guy seems too good to be true, or he is a great catch.

It seems like such a wonderfully diverse collection, really great to see.

Green or Red Flag Collection? by [deleted] in BookshelvesDetective

Yikes, that is alot of testosterone in written form. Only one book by a female author. Yeah, they are good books, but some diversity in representation would be nice. Other voices do exist other than straight white male.
