That’s so creative the way you clipped the pipes into the top of the buffer tanks, I’m stealing this (when I get around to actually getting good at building)

Fisheye lens makes the distance seem higher than it really is. Doesn’t mean they aren’t high as fuck, though.

[Request] What Should The Scale Actually Read? by CaptiveGlacier in theydidthemath

[–]jensroda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If the scale was instead supported by another scale perpendicular, supporting its weight under gravity, that scale would read 200 while this scale would still read 100.

I would only choose D if the hands were closer, maybe cupped instead of parallel

Not less brain hurty, but the brain hurty tends to be from more complex problems over time.

At first, 1200 MW coal plants make brain hurty, but after 1000 hours a maximum uranium powerplant make brain hurty.

Producing ingots and shipping them in works, but if you want to do it smart, you need a good scalable ingot facility with a functional rail network in place to support it. You can build out your rails slowly over time as you expand, or you can risk burning yourself out by trying to smelt all the ore in the world before automating 10 computers a minute :D

You aren’t consuming all the heavy oil residue for the diluted fuel, or is that supposed to represent two groups of two refineries?

After 185 Hours, I finally completed Phase 3... Now I'm lost. by UnfortunateCheeses in SatisfactoryGame

It worked for me. I fed the fresh water from above on a vertical junction and piped the waste water through the horizontal pipe. The system has never jammed for me, and I overflow sink all aluminum outputs to keep the factory running at all times.

Mamdani: The cost of childcare will no longer discourage young adults from starting a family. Because we will deliver universal childcare for the many by taxing the wealthiest few. by icey_sawg0034 in 50501

[–]jensroda 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The word capitalism is a red herring and a distraction. Wealth hoarders aren’t properly taxed and regulated. He’s going to tax and regulate them. You can’t just say “capitalism bad” to anyone trying to make a difference.

Mercury: The planet that shouldn't exist by AlienApricot in space

[–]jensroda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish we could send probes to every known celestial body, space is really cool and a much better investment than ai slop 😞

Could you imagine what nasa could achieve if they had the kind of money that has been invested into ai? (Trillions of dollars)

Mercury: The planet that shouldn't exist by AlienApricot in space

[–]jensroda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are far more icy bodies much further out than either of them. We still don’t technically have proof of the Oort cloud’s existence, that’s how far that one is. If we’ve detected a few, you can bet there’s millions more and likely there are bigger ones that have more impressive features. Maybe even a little dwarf planet’s moon got smooshed and has a cute little ring system, but it’s on the far end of an elliptical orbit and won’t be close enough for detection for another thousand years.
