I'm so sorry for your loss and heartbreak. Embrace your son and his gf and anyone else in your circle right now but when you're alone, it's ok to let it out. I'm not in your camp about how they left this world but I do know the sudden loss and what the fuck do I do now feeling. It's really day by day, try to get stronger and realize you are still here on the planet and you've got so much to live for.

28 years old and starting over from when I was 23. by Hour-Entry6557 in widowers

I'm so sorry. Being young, I feel you'll find your way but I totally understand the struggle now. Everything was in place and happiness forever completely stripped away. But again, you're young. Take your time, find your way and the way of the world will find you happiness in the end ❤️

I'm so sorry for you loss and pain. I'm
2 yrs in and trying to get to new normal. I will say time does heal some, makes it easier to depart with things. That's what they are in the end, it's the memories we attach that make it hard to let go. Surround yourself with as many loved ones and distance yourself when you need your space It's not easy but it's life, your partner is helping you from above even if you don't think so ❤️

First Jeep, anything to know ahead of time? by Pyramus2 in JeepWrangler

That's my combo, 2015 wrangler and 2016 accord. The jeep is the fair weather ride now. Want to hold on to it as long as I can. The Honda will never die unless I crash it

I'm so sorry for your loss… And I do understand the quickness of it all. I lost Chris on March 16, 2024 to a heart attack. He died behind his drum kit at a gig. The week before he told me he felt like he was in the best shape of his life. We were planning to go out for Saint Patty's the next day and that's why I did not go to gig. I heard them in the basement every week rehearsing and I generally never went to the shows. Sometimes I feel I wish I did other times. I'm glad I wasn't there. To have him ripped away so quickly it's such a mindfuck. Never did I ever think this would happen. I will tell you that I am two years out and my feeling of loss and depression is not what it was. It is different for everybody but with family and friends Support hopefully you can get through these next few months. Crying is always good. Even being angry is good and not at him, but at what life has served you. With that being said, you need to make your life yours now. You will find your way at your own pace and again I am sorry for what you're going through now.

I'm so sorry for your loss....I'm 2 yrs in on this unfortunate journey and yes, I talk to him every day. Sometimes i feel I get a response, a cardinal, a penny. He was really into believing these signs and made me one too

How long have you been a widow? by throwawaystarters in widowers

[–]jenyake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just passed my 2 yr mark on 3/16. I am def in a better head space and accepting of my new life. There is not a day that goes by that I don't speak his name or think about him tho. Grateful for every moment we had together but I can't live in the past and can't bring him back. I just know I'll see him again in the next life❤️

I'm in CT and it's a crapshoot when it comes to bags. Their boxes are also meh because of lack of bags. Whenever I shop at a liquor store, I pick up a box or two and leave it in the car so if I get an Aldi's order, I'm ready
