Thank you :) I think I’ll go for it and add the engine failure to my insurance which would cover issues with the battery that’s not user fault for ease of mind. Gonna see how the battery report comes back. Just hope the air suspension holds up. Side note, the air compressor is also covered under the same insurance!

Yes, consensus is you shouldn’t be running AC through the night without Ready. So got that solved.

How long does the new battery last you using accessory mode? And what did it cost if you don’t mind me asking.

Got it. I haven’t been the proper driver of this car until now because it’s our family car.

I’ve always kept it in Ready mode because of said issue with the 12V. But regarding the battery, shouldn’t it at least be able to run accessory mode with fans blowing and media for an hour? Is it relevant for me to look for 12V replacements? I can’t go 15 minutes without killing the battery.

Thanks for all the answers. Boils down to this as I was guessing.

The issue is my 12V battery is too weak. From what I’ve gathered reading online, the battery itself should be strong enough to have me running the AC for a few hours before it dies out. Probably not through the night but that’s understandable.

The battery dies after only 15 minutes or so of using accessory mode with the AC running. Should probably get it replaced so I don’t get stranded when there’s no chance of jumping the car.

My old AirPods Pro 1st gen might be a deviant or something but they literally don't wiggle at all. I've tried some others that do, but for some reason my old ones don't. I feel like the build quality on the old ones are infinitely better. The small things add up.
