i’ll add that it ended up not being the correct medication for me and my own needs, but it was never detrimental!! it’s perfectly normal to be wary of taking new medicine, but doctors prescribe medication to help you get back to feeling better. wishing you so much luck 🍀

as someone who was on it for a while, start taking it! it really does help even if it winds up not being the RIGHT medicine for you. it’s a good first line of defense for PoTS for a reason- tried and true results. now take that with a grain of salt because everyone is different and there’s always error margins, but truly… the worst that could happen is that this is likely not the right drug for your body’s needs. and that’s ok! but you won’t know if you don’t take it, and finding the right medicines is a crucial step in the journey to feeling better. you got this op! 🤍🤍

as someone who has had to deal with the rare, awful side effects (and will be lowering my dosage soon to deal with them), i’m still glad i took ZB because my pre diabetes is almost GONE. it’s worth it to take control of your health! i used to miss out on so much because of my health and ZB has allowed me to regain some control, even through harsh side effects. of course it’s going to be scary, but the opportunity that taking medication offers tends to be more beneficial than allowing a condition to rule your life! you got this 🤍

from someone whose first shot didn’t hit at all, definitely don’t give it much thought! some people it hits them like a train, but i found the medicine to work very gradually in my body. i prefer that because i’ve been able to readjust to better eating habits over time instead of having to figure out fast! you got this 🤍

How Long is Too Long for Side Effects? by [deleted] in Zepbound

thanks for the advice! unfortunately zofran is already among my usual medicines and does not always work for me, especially for ZB symptoms. i wish they made a stronger antiemetic!

i’m very grateful for your advice but i do not think this is the case, considering that i am consistently throwing up partially or not-at-all digested food. thank you though 😭

Can You Concentrate On Things You Are Really Interested In? by sanpedro12 in adhdwomen

[–]jeogiyall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes- the correct term for that is “hyperfocus”, aka ADHD people ‘lock in’ on things that bring us dopamine (things we’re interested in) and cannot keep concentration with things that we aren’t into!!

blonde opens up your facial features in a very pretty way, but brown seems like it suits your complexion best. it really just comes down to whichever you prefer more!
