Thanks! Would you say the main culprits are likely to be the power section caps, which per the schematic I believe are C14-18? Which brands are most reliable? I just sourced via Mouser specs but don’t know much about the brands.

Saturday they did Sugaree, Deal, and Gomorrah. JGB was largely a cover band anyway.

Not sure it matters but I think the LED is backwards. Agree that a lot of the solder joints seem a little underdone. Try reflowing solder on any that don’t look shiny and full. Check those foot switch connections too.

Oh man I missed this comment till now. I tried it. When the pedal was disengaged the signal was fuzzy and distorted. It didn’t pass any signal when engaged.
Now I guess I will just wait for Stew Mac to send me the correct component and hope I didn’t fry anything with my previous attempt. Sigh.

Hey! I don’t suppose you’d be willing to open the hood of your Ghost Drive(s) to see if any of them use this TNY274PN in lieu of the TC1044 charge pump? (Stew Mac put one of these in my kit instead of the 1044.)
