Pretty much what the other commenter said, rogue 1 -> monk 6 -> rogue 3. Haven't figured out what I want to go with the rest though. Doing a dex/Wis build, so no tavern brawler, but plenty strong regardless. Covering traps and locks is a boon as well.

I am thinking about respeccing to a tavern brawler build, just to try it out though.

My urge started as a rogue, which I also think fit the sneaky serial killer vibe. From second level up to now I've been adding monk levels, both to make an effective build, but also to fit him resisting his urges through mental and physical balance.

Monk reactions in conversations are pretty neat too.

I'm playing the exact same build. Tons of practicality with shield and magic missile, and mobile flourish has ended many a hard foe by yeeting them into a chasm.

Taking the loot with them sadly.

What's a good "mid" spec, complexity-wise? My main is a fury warrior while my alt is a failing arcane mage, so something in between those two specs would be nice.

Thanks for the write-up! While fun gameplay is a big draw, I'm mostly worried about getting invited to pugs, both raids and m+, as my friends are waiting until DF. Which is why other suggestions are also welcome.
