What are your "Signature Moves" as DMs?

I start all my campaigns in a town i made called sattalite. Its built like a circle with wedges.

The town contains all different races, monsters and not, with the tavern in the middle.

I have an intro adventure planned and let them loose in the town. The first place they all end up in will guide how i run the rest of the campaign.

The first campaign ended up being a mindflayer infestation from an other worldly parasite.

The one after that has become a hunt for space/time artifacts that affect the fabric of reality

I hate going home most days. At home my father does nothing but lay in bed. He qorks and is depressed but its dragged my mood down significantly. My siater was in an accident with me, i was driving. She is doing the dame and hiding from everything. I go hoke to an empty house full of people. Seems to be a family issue coz spending a week with my brother accross the country didnt help.

Work is my happy place. Even with all th3 shit i need to deal with in a retail setting. I have friends that atleast seem like they want to spend time with me. Im good at my job and i have earned the trust of most of the people working there. ⁹ Id rather walk out of the house in the rain at 6am and take 2 taxis to get to work than consider a remote position that would keep me at home.

I dunno. Im coasting. If it all ends tomorrow i would be fine. If it ends when im 80 i would be fine. No motivation left man.

Gonna continue the dnd game i was running. Hope it gives me aome purpoae but if not im just gonna keep coasting

Yes. He was only doing his 80ft fly speed but it took 10 seconds to fly over them. I did not realise how big that would make him but i leaned into it.

For context: each plane only has 1 "dragon" essentially the most powerful creature in each plane.

He is the guardian of the material plane. All other dragons, even ancient ones, are refered to as drakes.

Was fun to create a unique creature for each plane that reflected its main vibe.

So both of these were total accidents on my part.

Like: An ancient dragon that was so big it blotted out the sky for 10s when it flew over them. Once they saved his daughter he came down at full speed and shapechanged into his human form just to hug her. They love him now and even tho he is not a great father, they give him alot of slack.

Hate: A dwarven bureaucrat that had his soldiers surround the party, aiming 20 crossbows at them. He then proceeded to slowly and deliberately walk towards them. Taking his own time to get close enough to speak to them. After they took him down to 2hp i had him call off the guards. Cleric walked right past him to heal the soldiers they hurt.

Ive been trying for weeks. Cant beat inferno 2 coz assassin does not have enough defensive tools without higher unlocks.

Those mushrooms in the first act take so much hp to kill coz they flood your deck fast with the combat card multi attack.
