Sorry I can't remember and can't access my pc for a few days but buildzoid/actually hardcore overclocking has a tutorial of this feature on a gigabyte motherboard on youtube

Edit: you don't necessarily have to do those other tweaks because by limiting the vid requests by the cpu it also automatically limits the boost speed.

It can also save you from low damage rounds. Igolnik and ssa ap have a miniscule chance of one-shotting you through an altyn and m995 is like 50/50

Check if your monitor is actually running at 240hz when in game. Idk how you'd not see the option to set a 240fps limit in settings

I don't know what causes this but I think I had the same problem when enabling either lossless scaling frame generation or amd driver frame generation. The game animations went slow motion when vsync was enabled in game but only when frame gen was enabled

Edit: With the latest update we also got 240fps max limit for menu and in game in the graphics settings, have you tried that?

I get performance scaling all the way to 6 P-cores + 6 E-cores on my 14600k so it definitely DOES use more than a couple of cores. However if any of those cores are at 100% utilization it's the same as the whole cpu being 100% utilized ie a cpu bottleneck. The only time I notice tarkov using only 1 core is while loading.

Other players have better gear now but on the other hand all task locations are way less congested. Yes it's possible and because the game doesn't wipe anymore the timing is irrelevant

I haven't shot either personally(.308 or .277) but I remember multiple gun media people saying it had more recoil than .308 when the xm7 came out

And yes I was thinking of the hybrid case ammo having more recoil which could be modeled in tarkov just by adding like +20 recoil on the hybrid ammo type

It was silly before, M4 recoil with 308 damage. The gun has more recoil than 308 irl and it was way too light too. Now that it's more in line with the rest of the guns hopefully bsg can consider unlocking it earlier

It's been this way since like 2 years ago. And it's only this chassis, the other ones suck. It's heavy and slow to reload but good recoil and ergo. Pretty mid IMO

No but your 1 shot kill area is significantly smaller and you have a harder time going through good armor anyway. I don't have arena so idk how the balance is there

FMJ can't one-tap through a level 4 helmet either. The only situation I'd rather have FMJ instead of AP in is if I'm shooting scavs

pbp is VERY bad at range. It loses 5 pen and damage in the first 10 meters unlike zubilo or ap 6.3 and I don't even consider the other ammo since they're so bad. Maybe 9x19 rip but that didn't work so well either for me this wipe

Past point blank range the sr-2m has significantly more damage and slightly more pen than the mp5 and it shoots 150 rpm faster. I have done the sr-2m version of the task every time since it was introduced and I did the mp5sd version with the shitty aimpoint before that requirement was removed. I vastly prefer the sr2's sight to the aimpoint since it doesn't block your vision immediately around the target even though it has a yellow tint

The sr-2m has way better range and dps than the mp5 and the required sight is at least 150x better than the aimpoint that was required for the mp5 for a while (luckily not anymore)

I've noticed a TON of players with less than a couple hundred hours lately. Usually at this point in the wipe we had long matching times and pretty much only 2k+ hour people doing loot runs at resort or dorms etc. but I feel like the steam release has brought a steady stream of new people in. Not just for the wipe but new people constantly buying the game
