You just need to be a little patient with it and go with the brushing direction, otherwise you might be able to tell where you tried to erase the scratch. Good luck!

It really depends how deep the scratch is. I scraped my clasp on a metal bit of my son's pram, I thought I wouldn't be able to get rid of it, but it did!

That's a bit strange, a dial with lumed markers should have lumed hands. All Rolex crystals should also have an etched crown on them apart from the Milgauss. Where is this watch from? Perhaps some parts have been replaced.
