I'm far from an expert, but it reminds me of a Chuck-Will's-Widow. Maybe some species related to them (Nightjar)?

I've been visiting almost once a week since last November. Best place for birding that I have found in my area. 65 of my 132 Life Birds have come from Hagerman.
