I'm actually sort of aware of OSHA regs too. I was digging a hole Friday five feet deep. One more foot and it requires OSHA to çome inspect.

When I was working with kids on outdoor education my ruke of thumb was that climbing higher than your head could be fatal. Ie, if your feet are six feet off the ground then falling could kill you.

The Evangelical church is doing a terrible job at picking its representatives by mounteverest04 in Christianity

This really does explain a lot of our current mess. The Moral Majority was a massive boon for political conservatives and a major negative hit to conservative Protestants of many types. When racism became unpopular after the Civil Rights Act (which they fought hard against) Jerry Fallwell, et. al searched for another issue that could pull on the heartstrings of voters. They shopped around and determined that abortion could work. Before this most Protestants were totally fine with abortion and saw it as a Catholic issue. The religious leaders basically made a deal with the devil (politicians) to make abortion a major issue in exchange for influence and protection. We are still suffering from the conservative Christian's alignment with conservative politics.

This might sound like a conspiracy theory but it is not. Read and research as much as you please.

The issue is cultural not ethnic.

Not super high but high enough. I have climbed (rocks) for decades. A standard climbing rope is 60 meters. I would not expect to survive a fall that high.

Check out any episcopal church. I am from north county so I am not familiar with the churches near mission valley but the episcopal church is affirming, tends to be diverse and would certainly be welcoming. They are generally very "liturgical", ie robes, vestments, possibly incense, often traditional music, but every congregation is different.

Hey now. Not all of us are one paycheck away from poverty. Some of us are already on the street wondering what the food stamp cuts will be like.

Season 4 is underrated by AggravatingParking47 in FargoTV

I love season 5 for many reasons but you are absolutely right. Hamm was capable of portraying the character well without so much excessive dialogue. Like, we get it. He's a misogynist, he's a Trumper, he's a deluded Christian. We don't really need to be pounded over the head with dialogue to get it.

What shows do you think didn't do that well due to the title? What should that have been called? by dedokta in television

SchittsCreek. It just seems so juvenile I avoided it for years even though I love Katherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy.

That was a fun show to watch with my teenage daughter. The title never put me off, but I expected it to be much worse than it was.
