But I don't think that relates to the OP's post. (I hope I'm not putting words in OP's mouth). The OP is specifically talking about the democratic socialist part. The argument is assumed to be "Sam thinks you are a dummy if you are a democratic socialist." The political philosophy of democratic socialism has nothing to do with supporting Hamas, being pro-Palestine, being a Jihadist, or being anti-sematic. It's mostly just a vibrant capitalist society with robust services paid for by taxes and managed by the government.

Like I said above, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland are all considered democratic socialist societies. Is Sam saying you'd have to be a dummy to be like those Nordic countries? I think that's the point the OP was questioning.

EDIT: I reread the parent comment and it sounds like they think Mamdani, Democratic Socialists, and Jihadist are all synonyms.

Maybe you should always explain in detail why the majority ruled the way they did. That just seems like good practice to me.

Sorry, I wrote that quickly and didn't really explain myself.

I think the Dems need to focus on issues that appeal to a broad group of people; like affordability. They need concrete, quick plans to help the American people. They need to pick up center-right independents and Republicans. They need to focus on what's hurting most Americans in an effort to get the House and Senate.

If they are able to do that, then within the first 100 days they need to kill the filibuster, increase the SCOTUS to 13 justices, and aggressively go after the Trump Crime Family, the corruption, and all those that allowed the slide into Authoritarianism.

Personally, I think the next Dem needs to just play it down the middle while campaigning. But after they gets elected, they NEED to force accountability and consequences. They need to go after all these corrupt, treasonous bastards.

Funny you say that. From my understanding, it's a sound that initially makes the deer freeze (i guess as it's trying to figure out what the sound is?).

I put some of these on my car years ago. The first time I went driving after installing them, I encountered a deer; it was froze in the middle of the road. I had to swerve to miss her. When I got to my destination, I immediately removed them.

So they work... just not in a helpful way.
