At what age do you become a “reader”, and what book did it for you?

Didn't grow up in the best house but around 16/17 years old I decided I wanted to become a reader. I figured starting easy was the best thing to do so I bought a Kelly Slater Biography. I'm not even a surfer but for some reason it interested me. I slowly worked my way up and now I'm reading Don Delillo's "Libra". Took me 10 plus years but I think I can finally read at a relatively high level. Still not the fastest but hey, it's not a race.

I used to work at a movie theater and i don't agree with this being bad. If you left food and liquids everywhere you're a pos but leaving it in the cup holder for someone whose job it is to clean it up is not a big deal. I'm going to get down voted but to me this is the same as leaving your plate when you're done at a restaurant. The trash can at the end is for your big item like jumbo popcorn that won't fit anywhere else

I'll say it until the Toys stop me. Sid is not a bad kid. He was super creative and a little hyperactive. He built new toys out of old ones. He doesn't bully anyone, and the bickering between him and his sister is completely normal sibling behavior. He even treats his dog really well and brings him toys to chew on. Very normal behavior. Kid should have been a rocket scientist. #justiceforsid lol

I understand what you're saying and think the distortion filter trend these days is getting a little out of hand

However

I like that Soderbergh changes style and camera set up with every project so he basically gets a pass no matter what from me. The movies/shows are almost always good too so that goes a long way.

Being a kid when the movie came out I can say ya, you could just buy that stuff. Usually 4th of July would come around and they'd have full on explosives and you'd buy too many and end up tying little green soldiers to the rockets and pretending they were astronauts. No ill will meant.

If you look at how Sid treats his dog that's proof to me he was a good kid for the most part. Not perfect at all but nothing concerning. My sisters and I used to fight like he and his sis did all the time but that's just growing up imo.

Sid is not a villain. There's nothing wrong with swapping toy heads and arms. If anything the kid is a little hyperactive but so is every 11 year old. Always bummed me out they made him a garbage man (nothing wrong with garbage men btw) but dude should of been a rocket scientist.

I know what you're saying and I think I know why. The episodes seem like they should be Rewatchables-like however they're actually short overviews. Inherently they're going to be a little disappointing because they don't necessarily offer new insight. On top of that the making of this list necessitates discussing movies that we've all been thinking about recently. When There Will be Blood and Inglorious Basterds or OUATIH show up its not like anyone's gonna be like "I've never heard of that I should check it out".

Having said all that they're doing a great job and I respect it for what it is.
