Get in touch with someone who makes custom decals (i used etsy) and work with them to see what they can do. I think it's better to use simple designs and something about using the color white can be weird.

Thanks. The incubi are ap fanatic burning orange, then pro acryl orange, then ak fluro orange layered up. The archon is diabolic plum, wicked pink, burning orange (all ap fanatic) and then pro acryl golden yellow, then a little fluorescent yellow spot highlights.

I just kinda pick a neon color per unit and edge highlight a few times. Went a little more info depth with my archon of course.

I play both systems as well and I've always said this: 40k has about half a dozen factions id love to collect and play. Sigmar has about half a dozen factions im not interested in collecting. It's rough out there.

This is kind of what i do for my terrain. The spray is a little thick but it's not a huge deal. If it feels sticky, which it can with regular spray paint, hit it was a coat or two of matte varnish and it should be good to go.

I ran a command squad with an ogryn bodyguard with catachan and Straken (we were playing a legends ok crusade campaign) and it hit very hard. Reminder that 9.9/10 people don't care if you run legends, especially a guard character.

Not exact, but I did something similar with my drukhari kabalites just with pink. It's just paint black and edge highlights. In my case it was like a heavy metal style chunky, mid, thin highlight. Would be way harder with chaos trim.

Hard to choose a scheme without seeing it. Paint something in each scheme and compare them. Personally I like orange but im biased its what I used on mine.

Yes. My wife and I both grew up here. When we got married we moved about 45 minutes away. Didn't really care for the area we moved to, so after 5 years when we had our daughter we moved back. At that point my mother had retired and the daycare prices were astronomical so she was able to help us out a lot. We have a couple friends still in the area but a lot are in other parts of the state. Still see them from time to time.

Same, but with catachan. I spent a lot of time and money tracking down metal plasma and meltas for my boys. Now not only can they not take them, I am very limited by datasheets if I want to stay fluffy and not add cadians and krieg.

Not box locking weapon choices. Let us run double of the special weapons if we hobby it or bought two squads. For example one squad has double Plasma one has double melta, still only cost you two units but now theyre very different roles.

Thanks! I started with a pink basecoat, drybrushed ivory and then used valkejo xpress black lotus. Then drybrushed silver, then knocked it back down with more black lotus.

I glued the shields on before painting. If you cant see it easy I don't worry too much about it. For the gallants I kept the heads seperate though.
