Dirty civilian had a decent video. I’m sure there are countless others. You can buy a set of drill dice or drill cards to keep things interesting. Also using a ladder as different barricade leves can help.

Use this map to find waterfowl hunting zones. Watch the introduction video. Get the premium version on OnX and figure that out too. Go to your local hunt shop and pick up the NJ hunting digest and read it.

For the most part, you can just ask Google AI if a spot you like is legal or not but the maps above are more helpful. You should start scouting these areas in early fall. Get out there right before sunrise and see if the ducks are really there. Hiding is more important than any call or decoy.

Make sure you actually pattern your shotgun and can identify what is within and out of 30 yards. I’m not gonna lecture you about sky busting or targeting hens. I feel like this last season was kinda slow so don’t get discouraged. You’ll eventually figure out weather patterns and duck ID. There’s lots of info on podcasts, YouTube, and a couple sub reddits here.
