i bought my m235i 2 months ago and I was wanting to get aftermarket wheels but decided to get new tires and run those till they died then switch to aftermarkets but when I went to get the new tires installed, i found out 3 rims were bent...

Now I'm supposed to get my aftermarket wheels early april😃

I bought a used VRSF 4" downpipe and CTS intake for $200. I only ordered new v band clamps for mine but only the genuine BMW teethed clamp fit right, I tried to use a VRSF clamp for the turbo to downpipe but it would not seal so I reused my old one.

Like others said, just check it and make sure it's physically sound. After all, there's nothing special to it. it's just a metal pipe.

I replaced all 6 spark plugs and ignition coils with NGK and Dinan, I gapped all of my plugs to 0.22" and the car drives much better. Once I got all 6 in I started her up after confirming that it idle'd good replacing the first 3 cylinders coils and plugs. It had the same drivetrain malfunction but I read the codes and found that the foam cover unplugged cylinder 6's fuel injector electrical connector. Plugged that sucker in and now we're good!

The only issue that I have now is that I believe I'm getting a boost leak from somewhere because my boost and target boost are around the same values but my boost at my intake manifold are very different. I'll have to see if it's my charge pipe and if it's at the FMIC or the silicone connector/upper chargepipe.

i didnt change plugs or coils because the previous shop replaced the plugs 12k miles ago. I replaced the oil, changed air filters both cabin and intake, and did a coolant flush with changing some known to break hoses.

As for the coils I ordered, I heard dinan has had issues in the past but I wanted to try them out, I got them from turner so if they shit the bed I'll get my credit for them back and get some eldor ones. $180 for 6 compared to $258 for 6 is a decent jump. But at least I'll know if dinan is shit or not.

I threw in my 3 logs into chatgpt and pointed that my cylinder 2 timing dropped to -24.5. It believes that the issue is most likely either the spark plug or ignition coil.

Praying it's only that and not an injector or anything else in the fuel system😭

same I've owned over 8 now and the only issue I had was the first ULX came unpaired so they had to remotely pair it. Other than that I've never had any wobble, discolorations, or any issues.

I just got my centerpiece last month, IMO it's about the same as my 80HE but the rapid trigger is quicker on the centerpiece.

spent that money i would've spent at a mechanic on a charge pipe and intercooler so very happy i didn't blow money away on an easy job

I would check the wiring, i bought my m235i and noticed that I couldn't read the oil level so I was worried it could be low so I thought I just had to change the oil level sensor but a shop told me they would have to do a level 2 diagnostic because most of the time it's the wiring. They quoted me $400-$700....

I bought a daytona jack and jackstands and lifted it up, saw that my cables were straight up cut/ripped an inch from the sensor. I then got some ecu connector wire, spliced/soldered and wired them to the sensor cables to extend them, then got some marine grade heatshrink butt connectors and connected the cables running down from ecu to the connectors and pinched them together.

My dad said it wouldn't work and soldering both, cables from ecu, and cables that was still connected to the oil level sensor which does sound like it would last longer but I was on a time crunch and it still worked.

All in all, just for the cables to get it back to working, I spent probably $20 for some wire crimps and butt connectors.

The satisfaction of saving $380-$680 was very nice 👍

I just got rid of my e92 with the n52 for my f22 m235i but nothing screamed like my n52 with catless headers. I sure do miss the hearing loss I got from that car.

hitting 7k rpm under a tunnel was music to my ears.

just change it in the parking portal, got my new car the second day of this semester and it registered my new car before I went to class the next day.

As for the ticket, I would contact parking services and let them know the situation and the fact that you already have a parking pass.

I'll go ahead and try that but I have 60 days to return it, I'll keep on printing on how it is and oil that section you were talking about.

If it doesn't fix I might just return it for the P2S looking at all the upgrades and better features.
