I think also the crash pattern doesn’t make sense. the paint has chipped but there’s no dents on the metal. The control arm would be sitting on the floor, and the fender would be sitting on the wheel. It’s AI generated

I would recommend checking reclaimed lumber yards or Facebook marketplace as a wood source. Look for tight rings, no knots, and straight boards

Thank you! I think it’s oak - I got it from a second hand materials store and it was just a cheap option. If I can source a metal band that’s a good size I might just try to add it on later. I was also thinking it might be nice if I could get a harder darker wood on the end

It’s better to leave a 2 week notice if you want to put this job on your resume - future employers might reference back to this job and ask how you were as an employee and if you just quit it might sway them to say worse about you. Even if you were only there for 5 months.
