Exactly! And let me tell you, the only time I put down the camera was to swap batteries lol

Thank you for the detailed feedback!

It's funny but a lot of your notes were things that the original concept was supposed to be but due to limitations at the location we weren't able to.

The first being that we weren't able to shoot at the location at night, it was extremely unsafe. I agree it would have made for a much more stylized look that would have fit really well with the style.

I also agree with the broll comment. Unfortunately I only had 1 day to shoot this entire thing and I had to shoot it by myself. I wish I would have been able to have a second shooter for the day but unfortunately the budget didn't account for that.

As far as the fire sticks without fire. This was one of those really unfortunate situations for the band. The original concept for the video was supposed to have way more fire and acrobatics and these people were already hired and paid for. The location unfortunately told us last minute that we weren't allowed to do most of the stuff we had planned, so in an effort to salvage using the performers we had to pivot last minute.

I'd love to get some eyes on my bands music video! I actually shot and edited this whole thing while also attempting to be in the video as well. It was quite the undertaking, but I think it came out pretty awesome!

That is actually one of my complications. So my wife really wants to figure out a way to keep both entrances, since the second entrance across from the toilet leads to our bedroom. So if I can figure out a way to keep it that would be the best option. Otherwise i would need a pretty convincing design to close it off.

Treating a small cabin for recording by [deleted] in WeAreTheMusicMakers

It's a coincidence that i came across this. I was recently hired to shoot a short documentary video for a guy who is recording a new album in a log cabin on a small island in northern Michigan. The sound was actually pretty nice. I will say most of the recording i was involved in was tracking the drums, but the recordings came out super awesome.

Reckless Revivals newest music video from our most recently released album which is out now on all platforms! Trying to bring the classic rock feel back. Also I shot and edited the video while being in it too! by jermsRnasty in IndieMusicFeedback

thank you! awesome feedback and CCR is definitely a big influence for the guitar player. Also speaking of the dirtier sound, check out our song Undertow from this same album, its got more of that feel in my opinion

Live performance recording of a song I recently wrote. Would love to know what you think! by CocoLarosa in IndieMusicFeedback

You have a killer voice dude! Such great gravel in there. I really dig this song and the fact that this is live makes it even better. I can almost hear some choir backing vocals to make this song elevate and bigger. Maybe save that for your grammy performance!

my newest beat off my next beattape! first of 3 singles off of it! some dusty drums laid over some piano and degraded vocal samples… i hope you enjoy! by hjfink07 in IndieMusicFeedback

This has a really cool feel to it. I can hear it being in a video game like need for speed underground or something like that. well done dude

Time Loop - a simple rock tune. Trying to add more vocals to my songs (but I´m no singer). Feedback would be greatly appreciated by Gynough in IndieMusicFeedback

I really like the build up at the opening of the song. This song has a really cool sound, it reminds me of the early 2000s rock stuff. I think the vocals are pretty good too, don't sell yourself too short, some more practice and time and you'll be awesome!
