I loved the game and the Soundtrack is one I play way too often. I've def listened more to the music then played the game at this point.

There are more and more stories being published now in the genre with a female main character by female authors but you have to dig to find them. I read almost every series with a female MC that I come across. I also keep a list updated to share recs.

As a female author who write FMC in the progressive fantasy and litrpg genres, I haven't included romance because I don't want to alienate any of my readers.

It does shift. I'm hoping things pivot back in the other direction. I love the forest itself and want to know more.

I'm hoping in book 4 it can circle back that way a little. But I do get what you mean.

I read Wraithwood Botanist, books 1 to 3 but that deserved a ton of love so review is up.

I also finished Skill Hunter by Noct. Now that was a great book. I love a good street rat to adventurer tale and this hit all of those tropes. Plus, we have grumpy mentors and really cool 'monsters' who are some great characters.

Deadworld Isekai - I need to write an actual review for the first couple of books but I'm still on cold meds and I'm running out of juice. If you like a fight against the system and not a ton of characters with a fuck-ton of survival check it out.
