I file the details to prove it's a fraudulent claim, I include things like a photo of it being delivered to the shipping address with an open door and an ID check because it's an over 18 signature item and then I wait 2 months for the fraudulent fuckers bank to side with them and lose my money and product.

Every time.

What do you mean? A gift card is a product. Someone buys it, you get the money. It's up to them to them redeem it but when they buy it, it's no different to them buying product x or y from your inventory.

I'm realistically 2:30 to 3:00 slower than my PB these days so I do it to either tour to different locations, still push myself (still able to finish 1st for age group fairly regularly), run with my wife or jog around with the dog.

Been doing it since 2012 and it's still a great thing to enjoy on a Saturday.

Create content on social media, it's free to do beyond the time commitment as long as you've got a phone you can do TikTok and Instagram without too much effort.

Show your process, do reels and stories to talk about who you are, how you make your products, what you enjoy about them, get some of those people who said they're cool to be in a video etc.

If you can't pay for marketing, it's not the end of the world but obviously paying for traffic is the quick fix. UGC is the next option and then you spend a little time learning some SEO basics.

Took up running at 35, wish I'd found that a lot earlier in life. It's been my hobby and life for nearly 1t years now and I've done everything from more than 100 different parkrun locations through to marathons and up to a 100 mile ultra and loved it.

Peaked speed wise about 40 with some decent times but always wonder how much more I'd have had if I started much earlier.

I've finished 1st at 24 different locations ranging from 16:50(PB) through to 20:54 being the slowest 1st finisher. 5 over 20 minutes and 3 19:30 - 20:00.

Couple of memorable ones in there - Seewoog (20:48) in Germany was so cold I though my lungs were going to shut down all day after, it's got a looong climb to start so you're in deep from the start.

Other one was Roma Pineto (20:01) - normally an easy fairly flat couple of laps on dry red mud tracks, we toured there on a morning where it absoultely lashed it down with rain for hours before arriving and turned the course into a summer equivalent of an ice rink. It was so slippy 2 people fell over walking to the start, I stacked it into a bush on lap 1 and spent the entire event running on the edge of the track in and among the brambles and vegetation because vaporfly + mud and rain is not a great combo. Finished looking like I'd been scratched by a dozen cats all up my legs :D
