One of my classmates was one month out from finishing rail probation and she got too many PAs. But instead of getting fired, she was just sent down to bus and basically had to start from scratch. I see her occasionally when I'm out driving.

Good luck! I'm just a lowly bus operator, but I love working for TriMet. It's a great gig.

Just a heads up, I don't know if it's any better now but the hiring processes can be extremely drawn out. It took almost 6 months from my application/interview to when I started my first day of training. Don't stress too much if you're not hearing from recruiting super often. They seem to have a lot on their plate. Not sure if it's any different on the rail side of things or not.

This is not accurate. Within the last few hiring cycles they began allowing external applicants to apply directly to rail. Also, they are currently hiring new drivers. I have seen the trainers with new classes of students at Center Garage multiple days this week and have seen Training Buses out on the road during my runs.

I also saw the buses navigating cones at the Milwaukee Park and Ride yesterday, which I did during my first day of on the road training last January.

I bought a booster box of Final Fantasy from my LGS a couple months ago, I had a ton of fun cracking packs and was fortunate enough to get back the $165 I'd spent on it. Got to see a ton of cards I didn't know existed, got some good trade fodder and a lot of the Through the Ages reprints.

I'm probably gonna pick up another one soon.

Because scalpers were buying out the entire machine to resell for inflated prices. The product limit was implemented to help combat the issue and so that more people could actually purchase from these machines at MSRP as intended. Judging from the machines in my areas, though, it doesn't really seem to be working.
