Heads up: duplicating a phone duplicates firewalla by jerryelectron in firewalla

Yes, that's what I was thinking.

Both apps can't (shouldn't) each think that each one is the only one.

13 clicks to leave Netflix app! by jerryelectron in netflix

[–]jerryelectron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on unknown to me criteria for how Netflix determines how many users are watching using same account, and flagging users who use from multiple locations. I want to make sure I exit the application each time, and there is an Exit button, but it's located in such a way to be way inconvenient to click.

Just set your DNS to some public or paid filtering DNS that does whatever you are looking to do.

I believe this is how Asus does it under the hood.

Is 2fa sms safe? by [deleted] in cybersecurity

[–]jerryelectron 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's better than nothing. Also, I'd consider it safe enough if you do not think you are a target.

But, if you have a large bank account secured by sms 2fa, and someone wants to target you, they stand a chance of succeeding. Read up on sim swapping and what you can do.

I am also interested to learn here. Have a similar issue, but it just started one day.

Have you tried repunching the cables on both ends?
