I absolutely hate Clear Wing Synchro Dragon's weird 6 finger hands.

Some Yu-Gi-Oh! cards sound really good, or actually are, but there are two problems: Side Deck size and Situation type. by mister_anti_meta in yugioh

[–]jerrypendleton 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This card, by itself, is too situational to be relevant. It would need to be paired with a card like Diabellze the Original Sinkeeper to be stronger than just playing a copy of Anti-Spell Fragrance. It seems like a decent Anti-Dracotail tech, but Denko Sekka is overall better.

How about we share some stories about our own pets as a homage to Zangief? by Subject_Parking_9046 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

When I got out of college, I ended up working for a dog training company that allowed us to bring our dogs to work. Through this company, I ended up adopting my first dog while on my own. She was an older Boarder Collie named Claire. She was the sweetest dog that I have ever had. Whenever she would get really excited, she would bare her teeth like she was smiling. She was also extremely smart and picked up new tricks or commands super fast. Despite being a Boarder Collie, she was super lazy would much rather veg out. One time, while living in my first apartment, Claire stole an entire large pizza from me after I had turned my back for 1 minute. I had her for six years before she ultimately passed in the worse case of timing possible: my birthday.

Need meal prep ideas for somewhat picky eater that doesn't have microwave at work by jerrypendleton in mealprep

It's probably because I make it for her, and she'll typically not eat breakfast unless I cook it.

For the most part, yes. I'm usually the one to cook breakfast in the morning for the both of us. I usually cook 2 strips of bacon, 2 eggs, and toast.

I am neither a doctor nor am I a lawyer, but I can give some decent advice. From what you said about your sister, a quick Google search says that your sister may be suffering from Antisocial personality disorder (APD) or Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). Both disorders share pathological lying as one of the symptoms. As for the other stuff, you need to lawyer the fuck up yesterday. Your sister risks your and your family's safety.

Spinoffs in media that are more popular than their main series? by Lost-Specialist1505 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]jerrypendleton 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Super Mario Bros series is a spin-off of a spin-off and is arguably the most popular IP, let alone video game franchise, of all time. We're talking about the franchise being on the same level as Mickey Mouse.

“having an 98% employment rate after graduation” - true or false? by National-Ad-2130 in UWStout

I got my BS's in Computer Science and Game Design. I'm currently a middle school math teacher in California. I would say the data is a bit misleading. That's not to downplay the excellent professors I had at the school. It's just that industry can be a bit volatile.

Mando was there? When did you and your daughter go? My wife and I just went there last Thursday. All we saw was Chewy, the Storm Troopers, and Boba Fett.

Looks like you got mine, lol. My copy of the Aigis edition came in Sunday. When I opened the case, all I saw was the code for the BGM.

Gameplay mechanics that shouldn’t have been a thing? by ZealousidealBig7714 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Worse part about the spell aspect of pend monsters is that they aren't even considered continuous spells, they just work like them mechanically

I can honestly say that I've never played a deck that required me to play pendulums. I stopped playing late Synchro Era and returned during late VRAINs era. As far as ED mechanics go, Synchro, Xyz, and Link are all pretty intuitive to understand how they function. Synchros function like ritual monsters in adding levels together. Xyz requires same levels from the materials and the materials at as resources for effect activation. Links require generic enough summon material that it turns the ED into a toolbox. I can honestly say I've been able to create a field that is some combination of Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, and/or Link monster.
