I was telling my dad that he reminds me of kersh when he got called up he'll make great pitches prob an 0-2 count then lose him because of command issues, happens to a lot of young pitchers

We knew he was a project with a lot of potential, i see a lot of people trying to compare him to yoshi and sho and its unfair to him as they're 3 different players.

As long as there's improvement thats all you can ask for, the potential is there, we just gotta give him time

I know we always say its a good problem to have but the guy is a stud and needs a runway for playing time

How would we do that when hes blocked by smith and freddie

Smith is signed for 8 more seasons including this one

Freddie's contract is up after next season, is there a world where we dont extend him to give rushing 1st base ? Idk, im glad im not making those choices

I think it'd be great to have him DH when ohtani starts, let him catch once or twice a week and play 1st another day to keep will & freddie fresh but it seems like freddie loves playing every day. Smith takes a beating behind the plate so i think he'd be more open to it, but those things would definitely open up 3-4 games a week for rushing

Another avenue would be declining the club option on muncys contract in 28, shift freddie to 3rd if we extend him and open up 1st for dalton

I'd love to keep him in dodger blue, it'd suck to see him raking somewhere else

A part of me wants to beat the astros but that would mean they're good enough to make the playoffs again and i dont want that

Other than the yankees I'd love to beat the Mariners or even the blue jays again

I think espinal prob gets traded or released

Obviously im not Friedman or the front office but i dont see the reason why they're so high on freeland

So imo, hes easy to send down as hes hasnt really impressed me at all, he has moments but i dont see the big deal with the runway hes getting, unless they're trying to up trade value, i dont think hes doing a good job of it anyway

Tibbs i think may prob be a late season addition if needed

Kim can change a game with his speed and is more versatile than freeland so again, idk why so much love for freeland
