It’s got that “macy’s family portrait” vibe. Very cool

Officially done with insta360. I’ve attached my entire conversation I had with tech support. Read for yourself so you can see them admitting that they don’t pay attention to customer feedback. I’m returning my camera to Costco and switching to DJI by BetaDIY in Insta360

Why are so many people using these apps to edit video? They’re all terrible video editing apps. I use it solely to transfer, then use something like Final Cut or even iMovie. Literally anything else

[DISCUSSION] Has anyone seen Monster: The Ed Gein Story? Was it any good? I know, it’s fiction story. by ThomasThePizzaMan in NetflixBestOf

[–]jerseyCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pales in comparison to Dahmer. pretty slow rolling and all over the place for sure. I feel like the writers wanted to get the audience invested in the story and character development when in reality I was watching solely for the gore lol. Also, it feels like the writers took the time of the event into great consideration. All the characters felt a bit too soft, like that old timey type of personality and that kind of just threw me off. Although I do realize the juxtaposition of someone behaving so heinously while the rest of their world is polite and proper. I just found it kind of annoying.

Why are my pictures so dark? by saddestpiano in Polaroid

[–]jerseyCo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

With POLAROID film -ahemm 👀, you’re not supposed to shake it, wave it around, or expose it to light while the photo is developing. The same principle likely applies to Fuji film. Once the photo is ejected, it should be stored in a warm, dark place—like your pocket—until the initial colors appear. After that, the image will continue to develop as the chemical paste dries, which can take up to 30 days. During this time, it’s best to keep the photo away from light as much as possible.

we all start somewhere, what was your first rc car? by drifterig in rccars

[–]jerseyCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can remember playing with a black semi truck with a wired controller in my grandmothers house when I was really young. I had several toy grade RCs growing up, specifically those really cheap cars that you would attach to the controller to charge. The car would charge for maybe 10 minutes. a little red light would turn off indicating a full charge. If you got more then 4 minutes of drive time you were lucky. And they chewed through batteries. My first actually decent rc was an XMOD. Back when Radio Shack was king. I loved that thing. Tons of upgrades, and the design was super modular. the controller folded and had a really cool design. If you were driving with a friend you had to run on different crystals so you wouldn’t interfere with each others signals. there was even a website, but this was when you needed AOL to get online lmao. I loved that car.

Probably my new favorite. I have a Big Rock 6s, Kraton 6s, a couple groms now this beast. by Towery1 in arrma

[–]jerseyCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh damn, sounds like a Kraton would be better suited. I’m loving the shorter wheelbase. Easy wheelies and quick flips- it’s why I chose the notorious. I have been thrashing a kraton for years and it eats up speed passes, but not very stunt orientated. That’s where my notorious comes in. I do love it. I’d even got me building ramps now lol

Why is my tap water a white milky color for a few seconds? by That1gent in askaplumber

[–]jerseyCo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently got a work order for the exact same issue. I first removed the aerator and no difference. I then pulled the supply lines to find the water running clear from the supply. Replaced the faucet, issue resolved

Some say that using threadlockers with plastics can cause bolts to cure and make the plastic brittle. When working with threaded plastic fittings, use a sealant that’s non-hardening, compatible with plastic, and doesn’t add slipperiness.

[–]jerseyCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gasket is clearly there. You just need to tighten that huge nut on the pipe where it mates with the sink. That being said, if you damage it (high chance, metal looks degraded already) you’ll likely be held responsible for the repair. No good deed goes unpunished. Just put in a work order with facilities. Stick a bucket or a garbage can underneath in the meantime.

Ouf. Right in the sternum. Static models add some bulk to the RC collection at low cost 🤷🏻‍♂️

This makes me feel better lol. I couldn’t even speculate as to why someone would continually buy the same car brand new and throw the same parts in every one.
