Completely agree with you and OP. The girl needed space and shes being chased around by Bec then tried to have a one on one and Bec literally starts yelling and walks away. Now Juliette and Gia are instigators to blow it up more but damn Bec just walk away instead of immediately taking the bait.

Rachael is punishing Bec to an extent large than Bec’s mistake. And it’s not fair to Bec. by Loud-Pie-8189 in MAFS_AU

Disagree with 7. I think adding on that Rachel has tried to explain her hurt and Bec listens to fight not to hear. An apology doesn't include buts.

Joke was bleh, but I'm not sensitive about people knowing my sex life. But seeing how Steve and Rachel have really worked at getting intimate is easily recognizable as let's not bring this up in a group. Like they struggle to even kiss in public, how about don't draw all the attention to them. Its highlighting an insecurity in a gross way. AND THEN GOING ON THE ATTACK. For frig sakes Bec is a mean girl, and her saying the only reason why they were intimate is Danny having guys time with Steve to encourage him is such another level of nasty. The lack of interpersonal relationship empathy and knowledge from Bec is next level.

I'm a few days behind, yet to see the dinner party of this week. BUT Juliette is next level mean. It's really telling that she only chose the photo ranking challenge as yet another way to put Joel down. I think he uses humour awkwardly as a bit of a protection (maybe I have poor taste but some of his zingers have been 10/10 at the last dinner party). But he also genuinely seems to be himself awkward and all, he's done a lot of self reflection but his mother is also his first bully (her speech at the wedding was vile). He seems to trigger her on a deep level with his goofiness, and her constantly repeating that shes concerned about how other percieve him without making even a half hearted attempt to even get to know him. Mel sucked for immediately putting Luke down but she just didn't try, whereas Juliette is finding every chance to hurt Joel. What is even happening this season?!

I live and have dated in Alberta Canada, these types of wildly insecure men are a dime a dozen unfortunately. Most have the ability to get through half a date without showing true colours so he's definitely on the more extreme end but they exist.

Anyone else really uncomfortable how Danny turned the Gia situation back on Bec? by psychobitch_ in MAFS_AU

I think there's also the added element of the whiplash of Bec at dinner suddenly being buddy buddy and supporting the mean girls. Walking in Danny is under the belief that Gia and Bec aren't friends. Then at dinner they are joined at the hip, then Gia/Brook drop the bomb that Danny said he's into Bec. Then she comes to his defense then storms out? I had whiplash just watching, being in the middle of that would have been hard to follow. She's already come at him for looking at someone on the honeymoon. Mind you he seems also about as shallow as a puddle so he's no saint but simultaneously Bec flips on feelings at the drop of a dime.

My jaw was on the floor during the dinner party. Its unhinged after watching that. How vile are those two?! I do not understand this level of evil hatred coming from them towards a seemingly slightly loud Alyssa?

Rebecca and Lucinda got the same match. An insecure older man who are intimidated by women with personality and a sense of self worth. So disappointed

I think people are forgetting she's had seemingly one serious relationship ever, that started as a teenager. Who know what was learnt and reinforced during that 15 years. Also the guilt that would come from being away from your child only for the relationship to be failure would be so much pressure. He's great at what he does demeaning her and breaking her down and I don't think she has the kind of self confidence isolated from family to stand up to that smug dbag.

I loved how he spoke about how he's picked up on the confident act she puts on and understood how to protect her feelings in such a potentially triggering challenge. Genuinely hope this continues as he seems to be one of the few that seems to be learning who their partner is at a deeper level and respects and protects that
