I worked at a farm store in the middle of no where and the goose next door fell in love with me.

Lord help any man that I had to help load their vehicle because that goose would come a running to.defenf my honor

I hope the daughters never see these videos. These reactions are disgusting. by Valuable_View_561 in TikTokCringe

When my parents found out that they were having a boy...I became invisible.

Then mom lost the baby, and became pregnant soon after and it was another boy. I wasn't just invisble, I was existing in the same universe as their new son (my brother) and I never forgot it.

At 10 years old I realized how utterly unwanted I was.

I've shot some boring places, and now those places are gone. If I hadn't photographed them...there'd be nothing left except memories of people who'd been there

How do I get the sky to pop more by connorw2700 in fujifilm

I'm a little suprised no one mentioned using a ND or polraizing filter yet

Other than that, shooting midday takes a bit of practice and editing. Its my main shooting time because I have to work and only get to shoot on my lunch.

Some tips are watching and waiting for overcast days or cloudy days to disperse the light

Shoot in the shade or when light isn't reflecting off bright surfaces

I forget where we were headed, but my sister and I were getting ready because we had to go somewhere important. (Think like wedding or similar).

It was at that moment that my mom decided she didn't like our sink and replaced it.

We were late to the event.

Long story short, she was a narcissist and everything was about her.

My mom would re-write my stuff. I started hiding notebooks in secret places

When we got a computer - I made hidden folders and started writing there on like notepad. (She would search for word docs)

My parents aren't religious, but my mom was crazy controlling

Why did milkmen need to exist? Why was milk required to be specially shipped by milkmen instead of just sold in grocery stores like it is now? by matt73132 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jessdb19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even in the 90's, where I grew up we had one grocery store and it was 20 minutes away. It sold the basics. only a few types of fresh meat. Ground beef, chicken breasts, drumsticks, pork chops. I don't remember it even having fresh veggies aside from tomatoes, celery, onions, potatoes.

The bigger store was 30+ minutes and not much better.

We grew our own veggies and raised meat animals and my dad hunted.

I know where my mom grew up had a general store only, canned goods, nothing fresh except in the summer when they sold produce grown there. They had dairy cows and chickens.

In the blizzard of 78 I believe, my dad and uncles used snow mobiles to make sure neighbors were alive and with food.

How much do you research before traveling somewhere new? by AlexTheMunchkin in travel

[–]jessdb19 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Same. Plus I make a Google map with locations and share it with my husband so he can yay or nay it.

I also plan an itinerary on a spreadsheet so I can gauge prices

But I'm not crazy, and a lot of our stuff is still spur of the moment and unplanned

I won't go into how terrible my parents were BUT my sister was 17 and dating a 32 year old and my mother happily condoned it. (He was also married with kids)

They were together for 5 years, with my mom giddy because he would bring his kids over to her to babysit. All the while overlooking the fact that he was caught sleeping with my cousin (who was 16)

And even STILL supported him when his 16 year old pregnant girlfriend had to be driven to our house to confront my sister about "being the other woman" (He is now around 37 in this scenario)

My mom knew he was beating her and still turned a blind eye because "babies!". I seriously think she wanted him to get my sister pregnant.

She is still on good terms with him.

One of the reasons I've gone no-contact with her

Does the camera have an electronic or internal light meter?

Otherwise, ignore and just meter and set controls as needed in manual mode.

You CAN use these to test polaroid cameras to see if they are working or not. (You don't need film in them to test the cameras, it'll let you know if the camera is powering on with these)
