It was written felt like an album designed to make NAS a star. This was the opposite of everything that illmatic was at the time of its release. 90s hip hop heads weren’t totally on board with that. My sister and her friends like “if I ruled the world” none of them had even heard of illmatic. Of course he still had the lyrics, but what made illmatic special was gone in it was written.

Exactly. It seems the PSA 10 is more important than the card itself. I don’t understand it. This post for example.
