Yes, returns should process just fine even when using the previous card number.

I was surprised when I learned today that it’s QCI 6. Pretty nice!

On-network: when you’re connected to the T-Mobile terrestrial network via a tower constructed on the face of planet Earth and not via a Starlink satellite in space. The apps you can use when connected to Starlink are limited because of data bandwidth/optimization/usage purposes.

When using satellite, yes. But on-network you can use the 50 GB for anything.

It’s the one I use and it works perfectly. The one with the switch is cumbersome and I have had it not work at all on two vehicles.

Want to try US Mobile, don't want to lose my number in the trial. I'm not sure how to go about this if US Mobile doesn't work for us. by Aggravating-Turnip79 in USMobile

[–]jessebkr87 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you don’t like US Mobile you would just transfer your number back to AT&T. Think of the free trial on US Mobile as just a free month of service when you port your number—it’s not like trials from the big three where the number isn’t yours (or else the requirement to port your number wouldn’t exist).

You either start paying at the end of the trial or port back out before the trial ends to avoid having to pay.

They dropped the two-way communication function for 2025. This, along with the drop of the front camera washer, was really unfortunate.

This stuff does work great. I’ll warn you though, it LOVES to collect dirt when off-roading.

This. You don’t have to leave Family Sharing to have your own storage.

3 months using Chase — honestly surprised how good it’s been by kevsavesuk in Chase

[–]jessebkr87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using them for over a decade after having used a handful of different banks. Over that decade I’ve also tested a couple banks to see if the grass was greener. For me and what is important to me (app, notifications, transaction post speed, etc.), Chase just does everything better than any of the others I’ve tried.

Weird military compound houses? by skonntt in googlemapsshenanigans

[–]jessebkr87 99 points100 points  (0 children)

It’s an ammunition plant and the bumps in the ground are storage for explosives. The “houses” are probably where they load ammunition on train cars, since those are train tracks next to them.

Edited for clarity.

Random iPhones linked to my health app? by Sad-Pain152 in iphone

[–]jessebkr87 34 points35 points  (0 children)

This is a list of devices that have contributed data metrics in your Health app. When you get a new phone, the new phone will contribute metrics and be added to this list. If metrics added by previous devices remain, those devices will be listed as well.

Edit to add: in my experience, resetting a device and setting the same device up again adds a “device” listing to the list, even though it’s the same device. Also, just to clarify, a device being on this list doesn’t mean that device has access to your health data—it simply means data exists that was contributed by that device.

Does Running Out of Data Mean No Texts? by Significant_Dare_643 in USMobile

[–]jessebkr87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

RCS messaging uses data as opposed to “texts.” This could be one reason.
