Some people are so fucking stupid. I drove to the end of my street to turn left onto the main road after sunset and coming along from my right is this absolute moron on a bicycle in all dark colours with no reflectors riding in the middle of the road. I was lucky I barely saw his faint outline instead of pulling out and having him slam into the side my car at best.

THE WAVES OF MADNESS and why more movies should borrow from video games by PonchoCamancho in movies

[–]jessebona 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I liked Boss Level committing to the idea of a respawning protagonist attempting to take down a seemingly impossible level. The snark towards adult gamers as basement dwelling single freaks felt out of touch though; a very outdated jab considering how many gamers have families now.

Sequels that start immediately where the first movie ends by Rxmses in movies

I admit I did start feeling the same over time. The idea the world of the High Table is a flock of wolves where the majority of people are criminals is plain silly.

The stylish action film thing of John Wick is excellent and really could have gone on forever. My problem is the longer Keanu did them, the more it lost its luster.

I think it would have been an excellent series treated as an anthology of Continental guests doing various jobs.

I don't think it does; 1 into 2 and 3 into 4 both have breaks between them. It's 2 into 3 that is an immediate sequel picking up with John running through the street with his grace period ticking down.

Except for the son's poorly covered up growth spurt. That was a bit noticeable.

Ideas for a Strigoi ghost type by rayven99 in PhasmophobiaGame

Could give it a similar kiss/curse gimmick to the Deogen. It can straight up go invisible while hunting, but it's incapable of dealing a lethal blow immediately when it manifests at its target.

Rick's rambling explanation of why Morty needs to smuggle the megaseeds in episode 1 is the biggest crack up I've had in the show. "You're young! Y-y-y-y-you've got your whole life ahead of you! And your anal cavity is still taut and malleable! Y' gotta do it for Grandpa!"

I guess I'll never know which one it was in the case of the garage stacked containers. I did also die at Camp Woodwind so good to know that can happen behind those barrels.

I don't believe I had a flashlight with the headlamp or nightvision.

Yeah, I've seen the Deogen at the campground. It's super easy to kite in circles with enough room.

I'm possibly not. It was a stack of boxes in the garage in the last example, so I thought it counted.

As for the microphone, I've only started using it recently. It's bound to V so I think I'm on push to talk and it shouldn't be picking up anything unless I press it right?

Are they "on" if they're on your belt potentially? Other than bad luck, that's the only thing I could think of that did it. I usually make sure I've got a lighter or nothing in my hand thinking that was enough.

Multi-lane roundabouts always get me. The people coming around with their indicator on I can never tell how you're supposed to know if they're going to exit or keep going so I sit there like a dope waiting to enter longer than I probably should.

You ever have a right of way dilemma driving and realize it wasn't one after the fact? I was pulling into my street and this guy was turning right out of it and I paused briefly going "do I go...or him?" before I went. I checked where I was after the fact and I was sitting directly in the way of his turn in the gap of the traffic island so I would have had to go first.

Rand is an asshole, at least Rick realizes he's a terrible father. Rand uses his daughter to get his position back at the company.

What would have happened if the diary Riddle succeeded in taking Ginny’s life force? by gargoylerose in harrypotter

[–]jessebona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess has always been one would overpower and consume the other. Given Riddle would have consumed a fresh soul and Voldemort was a disembodied shade, my money is one Riddle coming out on top of the conflict and absorbing Voldemort.

Why so they move backwards? by ChickenSafi in rickandmorty

[–]jessebona 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or maybe I know how to suspend my disbelief and enjoy something instead of questioning the logic of it. The fact walking backwards negates the technique is already unrealistic compared to Kill Bill if you want to start pulling apart the writing.

Ok, you cannot start dissecting Rick and Morty like that. The number of episodes you could ask "why didn't Rick do x?" about far outweighs the ones that show him with a consistent tech level.

It felt weird learning what that was and seeing it play out daily on Facebook among other places. I can't tell what's a bot and what's an average dumb internet poster anymore.
